4TH to 22ND OCTOBER 2020.

DAY 1 – 4th October:
Arrive Kathmandu
Tribhuvan International Airport. Australian clients arrive at 8:00pm
Transfer by private transport to Ambassador Hotel Kathmandu. Settle in.
(Meals not provided day one).

DAY 2 – 5th October:
Early morning Energisation exercises with Lyn.
Visit UNESCO World Heritage sites including Durbar Square, the Thanka Mandala Art Centre, and the Monkey Temple.
Dipendra will take us out for a Welcome dinner
(Included Meals: Breakfast and Welcome Dinner).

DAY 3 – 6th October:
Chitwan (170 km)
After breakfast we leave Kathmandu and travel by private transport to Chitwan. Much of the drive is beside the Trisuli river. Settle into hotel.
Enjoy a Cultural Program with traditional dance at the local hall.
(Included Meals: Breakfast and Dinner).

DAY 4 : 7thOctober:
Early morning Energisation exercises with Lyn
A full day of jungle activities in the Chitwan National Park.
This includes a dugout canoe ride, jungle walk, visiting the elephant breeding centre, and a ride through the jungle in a jeep.
Walk to the river at sunset and settle with a wine and a view to behold.
(Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).

DAY 5 – 8th October:
Gandaki/Bandipur (82 kms)
Depart Chitwan and drive to an isolated school in Gandaki where we spend several hours with the children, parents/carers and teachers. Present gifts and share lunch which we have provided.
Stay overnight at the Bandipur Hotel, high up on the hill overlooking the mountains and vast valley.

DAY 6 – 9th October:
Sunrise and a session of Qigong/Yoga with LynAfter breakfast we drive to Pokhara and settle into the Tuki Resort.Meet Ram our guide who will brief us on the trek and what we need.Walk into town to buy supplies needed for the trek – walking poles, wet-weather gear, trail food etc.Meet at the Ayurveda Health Home for Introductory Talk and arrange the Treatment Itinerary

DAY 7 – 10th October:
Sunrise Qigong and Yoga exercises with Lyn
Ayurveda massage as per the itinerary and free time

DAY 8 – 11th October 2020:
Ulleri (2085m – 1 hr trek)
8:00am – Leave Pokhara to start our 6-day trek.
Take private transport to the traditional Magar Village of Ulleri. Enjoy lunch and from here the trek begins. We have just a short distance to trek to Banthati for our overnight stay.
(Included Meals: Breakfast Lunch and Dinner).

DAY 9 – 12th October:
Ghorepani (2874m – 4 to 5 hr trek)
7:00am – After breakfast we begin the trek, crossing sparkling clear streams and walking in stunning rhododendron and oak forests. We lunch at Nangethanti before the final and gradual climb to Ghorepani. Incredible views of Dhaulagiri and Tukuche and other adjoining mountains of the Himalayas.
Stay overnight in the guest house.

DAY 10 – 13th October:
Poon Hill (3210m – 1.5hr hike) and Deurali (2700m – 3 to 4 hr trek)
4:30am – An early morning start to walk a myriad of steps up to the lookout at Poon Hill to watch the incredible sunrise over the Himalayas. The outlook is spectacular with more than 20 of the highest mountains close by. This is the most popular trek in the Annapurna region. Here we relax to photograph, observe and gaze in wonder at the amazing view and breathe in the pure energy from the crystal-clear mountain air.
We head back down to Ghorepani for breakfast.
Depart Ghorepani to begin the trek through rhodendron forests, beside streams and wonderful waterfalls on our way to Deurali for an overnight stay

DAY 11 – 14th October:
Tadapani (2700m – 4 to 5 hr trek)
Early morning sunrise Energisation and Yoga session with Lyn
After breakfast we head off on the trail that takes us on an up and down journey through more beautiful rhododendron forests and towering pines. The streams and waterfalls add a sense of serenity and calm as they partner with us for much of the trail.
Overnight stay with wonderful close-up views of the snow-capped mountains.

DAY 12 – 15th October:
Ghandruk (1940m – 4 to 5 hr trek)
Early morning Qigong and Yoga with Lyn
8:00am – We head off, making a steep descent through a mysterious dark, dense and old rhododendron forest. Views of the Himalayas show through the trees, always reminding us of where we are and keeping a connection with the magnificent essence of Fishtail, Annapurna South and Kiunchuli mountains.
Overnight stay at the Tea House.
There is an old village at Ghandruk. A settlement of stone houses mostly inhabited by the Gurung people. Join Ram for a walk to the village and enjoy the up-close feel and touch of this old village and observe the timeless way of living of the inhabitants

DAY 13 – 16th October:
Early morning Energization and Yoga with Lyn
7.30am – Begin our trek to Pokhara where we view Seuli Bazzar and the Modi river. We stop for lunch at Birethanti then continue to trek to Naya Pul. Private transport from here, back to Pokhara. Settle into Tuki Resort.
Walk up to the Health Home for your first detox massage.

DAY 14, 15 and 16 – 17th to 20th October:
Early morning energization and Yoga with Lyn
Ayurvedic Health Home – daily massage and steam as per the treatment itinerary.
Sightseeing, shopping and leisure time.

DAY 17 – 21st October 2020:
A short scenic flight from Pokhara airport to Kathmandu.
Settle into Ambassador Hotel.

DAY 18 – 22nd October:
Departure for Australia
Depending on the time of departure, a free day or transfer to the airport. Australian clients depart at 8:50pm

  • A no-refund policy applies. Travel insurance with a cancellation policy will cover any cancellation that has an accepted reason for not travelling
  • Tipping is part of the Nepalese culture – Lyn will advise the appropriate amount required for the different services provided to our group.
